Operation Backpack: Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort
Louisiana State University is setting up an elementary school near their campus for 1,000 displaced students in grades K-8.
School supplies such as pencils, pens, pencil sharpeners, crayons, colored pencils, wide ruled paper, rulers, glue, blunt nose scissors, and folders are needed.

If you would like to donate some items, please bring them to the Honors Scholars Program office, Pearl 305 by Tuesday, October 11, 2005. We will be mailing our backpacks by October 12.
