As a researcher at the Biological Sciences Department in the New York City College of Technology I work in the areas of genomics, epigenomics, computational biology and bioinformatics. I have a strong interest in developing software and tools for the analysis of next-generation sequencing data. Currently I teach Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics.

I hold a joint appointment at the David Z. Rosensweig Genomics Research Center in the Hospital for Special Surgery where I am involved in high-throughput data analysis and biologically-driven projects related to rheumatoid arthritis (RA), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and other autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
